Mercers Yard is a mixed-use development in the heart of Covent Garden, creating 26 high-end residential units alongside retail space and a new pedestrian road. The development involved the restoration of a heritage-listed warehouse and the creation of three new residential blocks from the ground up.

Part of the original Covent Garden Market and a historic estate, the project sought to create a new destination within London. Designed by renowned architect Ian Ritchie, Mercers Yard has become a hidden gem in one of London’s most iconic areas, winning multiple awards, including a Construction Excellence Award for the Southeast.

Our role:

• Team Appointments: Managing the selection and appointment of the project team.

• Contract Administration (EA) & Oversight: Managing contracts, coordinating with the design team and contractors, and ensuring successful project delivery.

• Site and Programme Management: Overseeing site construction, managing timelines, and ensuring effective programme management.

• Cashflow and Final Account Management: Managing finances, including cashflow and final account agreements, in partnership with Hanover Cube, the development managers.

Mercers Yard is now a standout development, blending historic charm with modern living, retail, and a vibrant new public space.
